...and flying to CA to get it and drive it back to Corpus Christi - 1500 miles.... Yes, I'm nuts. But got a good price on a beautiful Black Emerald Pearl 2+2 and it's my way of making up for giving up my '95 about a decade ago. Anyway, I have a sound system question. This '94 has the original Bose cassette system in it with what looks like an aftermarket 6-disc changer in the bottom pocket (that currently doesn't work). No problem, I'm pulliing it all out anyway. I want to replace the speakers with Infinity reference components in the front and 4x6's in the shock towers. So far, so good. But my sub needs are minimal. I was thinking about mounting a Kenwood KSC-SW10 onto the back of the NA rear seats to maximize cargo space - and if that turns out to be a crappy idea, I'll d what I did with my old '90 coupe and drop a 10-12" JL Audio sub into the spare tire well. But I'm hoping the Kenwood will be enough. My real question has to do with the head unit. I really love the Pioneer AVIC-F700BT - touchscreen, bluetooth, GPS unit but, of course, it's a doubleDIN unit. I know that I've seen pictures of modified facias designed to accept a doubleDIN. Not worried about resale value since they're not prying THIS car from me unless it's from my cold, dead fingers. Anybody here modify these facias as a side business or have advice before I start? Whaddya thing? > Jimmer <
